Excursion Idea
There are 4 thrift stores in close proximity, in Broadway in Chula Vista (DAV, Salvation Army, Goodwill and United Cerebral Palsy). Take an afternoon and drive down and check them out. And while you’re there, have lunch at Zorbas Greek Buffet Restaurant, which is at 100 Broadway in Chula Vista (619-422-8853). At $8.95 per person (for lunch), it’s a great bargain, and the food is fabulous too. While the buffet is a great deal, drinks are not (about $2.50 each), so drink water and enjoy!
